1. Monitoring and Operation: It is crucial to monitor the AC units at all times during their operation. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the AC unit is turned off when it cannot be properly mounted or during periods of non-use to prevent any potential hazards or damage.
2. Drain Plug Responsibility: Each AC unit is equipped with a drain plug. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the drain plug is securely in place before operating the unit. Failure to do so may result in water leakage or damage, and the customer will be held liable for any associated costs.
3. Subscription Billing: All AC units rented are considered subscription items. At the end of the rental period, your credit card will be automatically billed for the rental fees if the customer fails to return all rented items before the end of the rental period. Please note that there are no pro-rates for early return of AC units. All sales are final, and refunds are only provided for exchanges of the same item rented.
4. Appointment Requirement: All pickups, returns, and deliveries must be scheduled by appointment only. To set up your appointment, please contact us as soon as you receive this invoice. For returns, customers must call at least 24 hours in advance to schedule a return appointment.
5. Photo ID and Picture Consent: By entering into this rental agreement, you agree to allow Nick’s agents to take a picture of all rented items with you in the photo. Additionally, we may take a copy of your photo ID to keep on file for validation and payment purposes.
6. Terms Acceptance: By making payments towards this agreement and/or taking possession of the equipment, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to all the terms and conditions outlined herein. These terms are incorporated into all past and future contracts between Nick’s and the customer.
7. Identification and Document Requirements: Customers are required to provide a valid Texas ID or a valid government-issued ID for proof of address and identity. Nick’s reserves the right to collect pictures of the customer’s ID and credit card for payment processing, record-keeping, and residency validation purposes. Additional proof of temporary residency may be required for non-local Texas residents.
8. Subscription Payment: Your rental agreement with Nick’s begins when we accept your order for AC Rental Subscription items. Subscription fees will be collected in advance using the provided payment method and information. Please note that late payments may accrue interest, and failure to meet payment obligations may result in suspension or termination of your subscription.
9. Rental Subscription Rates: The charges specified in this contract are estimated based on the rental period indicated. Weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly rental rates will not be prorated. The rental rates do not include consumables, fees, taxes, and other charges unless specifically mentioned. Additional fees may apply for delivery, pickup, maintenance, repairs, or cleaning services.
