Nick’s Air Conditioning is looking to fill an HVAC Associate/Assistant position within our company. Nick’s has been doing business since 1979 in Houston Heights, and as we continue our growth in the local market, we’re looking to add some new faces to our team.

The chosen applicant(s) will accompany licensed and experienced HVAC technicians on any assigned residential or commercial service calls. Will assist the lead technician in any maintenance, repairs, or installations as required. Repair and installation of furnaces, air conditioning units, air filtration systems, thermostats, humidifiers, and dehumidifiers will be performed under supervision.
Frequent heavy lifting with assistance, crawling in attics, under homes, stocking of trucks, cleaning equipment, and providing primary labor on-site will all be required.
All employees of Nick’s Air Conditioning are always expected to conduct themselves in a business-like manner when representing the company.
Good communication, organizational and personal skills are a big plus, with a strong work ethic and zero fear of getting dirty.
Must have at least two years prior experience working with HVAC systems.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid Texas driver’s license with clean driving record.
Must be able to pass a standard background check.
Able to crawl into, and work in, confined spaces in attics, crawl spaces.
Self-motivated, team players who take pride in their work, as well as their company.
Ability to work evenings and weekends when assigned.
