Trane® Air Conditioners in Houston
Since 1885, Trane® has been researching, innovating, and improving home and commercial air conditioning systems. Keeping your home reliably cool and comfortable during the hottest days of a Houston summer is what you can expect from your new Trane® AC system.
Why Would I Want to Install a Trane® Air Conditioner?
Trane® air conditioners are tested for 2,600 hours in bone-chilling cold and blistering heat and monitored for areas that can use improvement, resulting in over 1,500 patents. Trane® pushes its technology harder than your family ever will, resulting in home comfort equipment that can easily provide 15 – 20 years of reliable service.
Additionally, all Trane® air conditioners are equipped to run the innovative Trane Home App to take instant control over your home’s comfort from any smartphone or tablet. Trane® Home will also connect with Amazon Alexa® or Google Home®, making a temperature change as simple as asking your air conditioner to turn itself up or down.
Most of the Trane® products we offer have earned Energy Star Ratings for meeting or exceeding efficiency expectations set by the Federal Government. Energy Star-rated appliances must be able to demonstrate not only the energy efficiency of the unit but also show there is no trade-off in performance to achieve the energy savings.
Selected Trane® Air Conditioning Units – Features & Specifications
XV20i TruComfort™ Variable Speed Air Conditioner
For decades, there were only two speed options for air conditioner fans. On or off. If your thermostat drops to one degree below the set temperature, the system has to power on, at full blast, for as long as it takes to adjust the temperature. With variable speed fans, your air conditioner can run as if on “cruise control”—maintaining the perfect environment while making only slight adjustments as needed.
Trane TruComfort™, variable speed technology, allows the XV20i to continuously adjust its speed to regulate the temperature and humidity levels you desire accurately. The TruComfort™ motor gradually speeds up or slows down to deliver consistent cooling.
