We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join our team and contribute to our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:

The Senior HVAC Technician position is a supervisory level position in our company. The selected candidate(s) will perform all necessary maintenance, repairs, and installation of water and gas line plumbing systems. This position is responsible, as the on-site crew leader, for the supervision of all Nick’s Air Conditioning junior employees, as well as any third-party contractors.

This position requires solid troubleshooting skills, familiarity with all current industry standard HVAC systems, components, and necessary tools. The chosen applicant(s) will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing all HVAC systems and their related components. This position will be the point-of-contact between the customer and the company and, as such, requires excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.

Requirements:

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with HVAC equipment.
• Ensure all services comply with national codes and best practices.
• Provide high-quality customer service, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical details in an understandable manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. – Work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC services.
• Strong working knowledge of national codes and best practices.
• Required Certifications: EPA Universal Certification and Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation Card (TDLR).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Demonstrated work ethic with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work evenings and weekends.
• Capable of raising, manipulating, and maneuvering tools, components, and materials.
• Must be able to handle various items, equipment, control knobs, switches, etc.
• Physical ability to lift or carry heavy objects up to 50 pounds, including ductwork, furnaces, or materials.
