Your Indoor Air Quality Has Never Been More Important!

How much of your day is spent inside? Even before the coronavirus pandemic hit, people spent an average of 85% of their time indoors. So, between the addition of homeschooling and the work-from-homers, that percentage is probably closer to 95% today. With fewer people leaving their homes every day to attend school, sports, and social functions, and with more people working from home, the air inside our houses is under constant attack from every type of contaminant and irritant you can find.

The Air in Your Home is Between 10 – 100 Times More Polluted Than Outdoor Air.

It makes sense. You know that feeling when you walk into a house that hasn’t had a window opened since Jimmy Carter was president. The air is thick with dust, it’s stuffy, you can almost taste the mold and mildew floating in the air, yet the homeowners who live there don’t seem to notice. As a result of this poor indoor air quality (IAQ), they experience headaches, stuffy and runny noses, scratchy throats, coughs, sneezing, and red eyes and blame it on pollen, or their work environment.

When it comes to indoor air pollution, no one ever thinks the call is coming from inside the house. Today, the air quality in our homes and businesses is more crucial than it has ever been. The “new normal” has already seen a tremendous interest in products that improve the quality of water, air, and overall health.

Nick’s Air Conditioning offers the REME HALO® in-duct air purifier to complement our other HVAC products and services. What sets REME HALO® apart from any other air conditioning product is what it can do to improve the air quality in your home. In combination with proper use of HEPA filtration in your HVAC system, the REME HALO® begins to remove any harmful pollutants from your home’s air the moment it is installed.

What is the REME HALO® In-Duct Air Purifier?

The REME HALO™ In-Duct air purifier is a system that uses ultraviolet or LED light to purify every cubic inch of air in your home, depending on the model selected. Installed in the supply plenum of your HVAC system, all air that enters the A/C unit is passed across the active light source to alter the ionization of dust and dirt particles, allowing them to cling to HVAC filters more easily. With HEPA filters’ assistance, this reduces the amount of dust and other particulate matter to an almost negligible level.

REME HALO™ also employs their Reflective Electro Magnetic Energy technology to produce a hydro-peroxide plasma that can travel across the air through particle-to-particle contact. In the same way hydrogen peroxide reacts to contaminants on our skin to disinfect an area, the irritants in your air are being purified out. This technique eliminates the need for air to pass through the HVAC system to be treated by infusing every cubic foot of air in your home with ionized hydrogen peroxide. The peroxides’ infusion causes dust and dirt particles to become larger and heavier, allowing them to be pulled into and trapped by your HVAC filers easily.

Who Makes the REME HALO® In-Duct Air Purifier?

The REME HALO® is manufactured by the RGF Environmental Group, founded in Riviera Beach, FL, in 1985. RGF specializes in providing environmentally conscious solutions to common health risks in air conditioning, water treatment, food service safety, and sanitation industries. RGF currently manufactures over 500 environmental products that provide the world with the safest air, food, and water without chemicals. These products’ scope ranges from wastewater treatment systems, air purification devices, and food sanitation systems.

What Makes the REME HALO® by RGF Group Special?

Thanks to their advanced Ionized Hydro-Peroxide output, the REME HALO® boasts a faster kill rate of microbes and bacteria than other air purification systems on the market. The REME HALO® In-Duct Air Purifier system features an adjustable output level, allowing for the customization of each unit, as well as a user-serviceable light cell that only needs replacement every two years.

The REME HALO® in-duct air purifier will rid your house of “sick building syndrome” by removing odors, air pollutants, VOCs, smoke, mold, bacteria, and viruses. The compact REME HALO® system only requires a small, circular opening in your HVAC system’s return air plenum for installation. No modifications to the ductwork of your already existing system are required.

Very good experience. My technician Anthony P. was very open with ideas for problem solving. On time service. Good communication system. Very professional work. All done very neatly and timely as proposed. Very satisfied and have shared my experience with others as Nick’s should be their go to company.

I called Nick’s Plumbing to complete a natural gas line replace and repair job after being frustrated with the incompetence of the supposed “expert” plumbers in West University Place. Nick’s employees were knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. They finished a job in a day that the prior company could not complete in a week – and at a much lower cost. Many thanks!

Called on Saturday around 11 am and they were onsite within an hour to help get our domestic pumps up and running for 200+ apartment homes. Fantastic service, communication, and personnel. Pricing was very reasonable too.
